World #2: Morimori Academy

When the Alices awaken in the next world they awaken in a school dormitory, each on the upper or lower part of a bunk bed. Rahti and Harley Quinn will share a dorm room in the girls' dormitory, while the rooming assignments for the boys are Hajime Hinata and Ken Amada in one room with Zhang Liao and Lalli Hotakainen sharing another. Sasuke Sagami will be by himself. They will also find that something strange has happened: all Alices aside from Sasuke will note that they have become part animal.

Harley Quinn is a tanuki. There are two leaves at the end of each piece of her Jester's hat, now, instead, and the colors of her outfit have changed to reflect the typical ones of a tanuki. She will find touching the leaves allows her to change her appearance, slightly, such as the colors of her eyes and skin and hair. She has a large, fluffy tail on her backside (and her outfit now accommodates this), and blackness under her eyes and around her face akin to face paint in traditional tanuki colors to match these new features.
Rahti is a mujina. She will find she can now sing very well, and will have a fluffy badger tail and ears, as well as slightly elongated fingernails. There are now black markings around her eyes, like face paint.
Zhang Liao is a hebi. He will find himself capable of understanding any and all snakes in the area, and he now has a forked tongue and snake-like eyes. His teeth will have sharpened just slightly to also reflect his new features, but they are not sharp enough to seriously injure someone without effort, and he is not poisonous. His facial hair will have grown out to be slightly more wiry, as if to almost resemble a dragon's. All of his hair, including his facial hair, is now streaked in areas with white.
Lalli Hotakainen is a bakeneko. He now has cat ears matching his hair's color on his head, whiskers on his face, and a split tail growing from his backside. One of the split tails is bright white; the other matches his hair more closely.
Hajime Hinata is a tanuki. He will find a long leaf at the end of his ahoge (or what used to be his ahoge) that he cannot remove, and a pair of tanuki ears on his head, with a matching tail. If he gets particularly emotional and his ahoge moves a lot, he will find himself sometimes growing fur to match his tanuki features.
Ken Amada is an inugami. He will find a pair of shiba inu-like ears to match his hair color on his head, and a matching tail on his backside. However, his neck now has a small bandage around it. His sense of smell has been heightened.

The final thing that everyone will notice being off is that everything is in sepia tones save for Sasuke, who is entirely in black and white.

The hallways from the dorms will lead to a covered walkway that leads up to the school building. Unlike on Jabberwock, there are no locked doors, although a barrier will keep the players from leaving very far from the buildings. Sasuke will also notice that the torii gate that should be present no longer is.

All classrooms are marked with a color, although only three are legible: white, red and blue. Filling the hallways and classrooms and milling around are various phantoms, all with obvious animal characteristics of their own. They will not speak unless spoken to, but seem to have conversations with each other. They appear as dark, blotted out people who are slightly see-through. All Alices, regardless of age, will be treated as students.

The school is three stories high and has a single gymnasium. Each floor has three classrooms on it. All classrooms are identical save for their door marker. There is also an infirmary and a classroom serving as an art club room on the second story and a series of offices on the first floor. Each floor has a restroom, with sections split up by gender. The dormitories have a similar set-up save for lack of offices. A fairly well-stocked, but low reading level library can be accessed through doors from the gymnasium; there is also a large balcony to view the entire area on the third floor. The entire school is shaped like an ark, or a boat. While the shape is not perfect, it is something to bear in mind while exploring.

In all, it's almost too ordinary, save for mirrors scattered about where they obviously shouldn't be. Hallways, offices, walls and walkways; the mirrors seem to be dotted throughout the entire school and dormitories, as if someone frantically hung them up. These mirrors will function normally for everyone save for Sasuke, who will find that his twin brother, Yuusuke, is reflected in them in full color. They cannot be taken down, destroyed, or removed.

A map of the school is available here. It doesn't show the second and third floors to the dorms and the school itself because the classrooms and dorm floors are identical to the ground floors, save lacking the offices and such.

As a small mod note, all of these spirits are rendered relatively tame compared to their myth as the manga portrays them simply as talking animals who desire to live as humans, or at least simply interact as humans with the human world.

As of the first puzzle being solved, the barrier in the forest has expanded. As well, Sasuke has regained a bit of color. He isn't black-and-white. Instead, the color
yellow has been added to his color palette.

As of the second puzzle in the library being solved, the barrier expands further. The torii gate that could be barely made out through the barrier is now in full view, although it cannot yet be reached. Finally, Sasuke has regained the color blue to his palette.
