World #6: Quarantined Remains

When the Alices first awaken, it's to the sun shining down--and new hats. They're surrounded by greeney and the world is generally beautiful, although they can't see for very far. The only thing that sticks out is a metal door that's starting to rust.
Upon entering, they'll find themselves in the first room of a vast laboratory. It's clean and bright and generally nice, but there's a general sense of loneliness and solitude with everything spaced just barely too far apart. This first chamber can't be exited until they find a way to unlock the door leading deeper in. There are multiple hologram projectors in his room, spaced out. There are a few chambers, but it's rather linear, hallways between each of them. However, as they go on, they will find that the state of the lab worsens and they grow bigger with things getting further apart, like the place is decaying from lack of use. The feeling of isolation and loneliness intensifies as they go. Occasionally, as they travel deeper into the chambers, they will hear something akin to the sickening sound of something like an egg cracking growing louder while everything else grows uncomfortably and steadily muted.
There are giant test tubes with specimens inside throughout the hallways, and more than a few holograms--which will only speak when Qilby and other people are near, detailing some of his more horrible actions and atrocities over the ages (at the decision of the players). Occasionally, when it's just him, he'll catch glimpses of holograms of a red dragon laying dead, but they are always brief enough to make one question if it's real or just guilt.
Eventually, they come to a room with giant, cracked tubes. Very few are intact, most having been broken and the beings inside having decayed into nothing but gunk. The smell is atrocious here. The door to this chamber is currently unable to be accessed, and trying to traverse the hallway before it only loops back around to the room it leaves as if one entered the previous hallway. There are six chambers in all, with most of them simply containing the holograms and hints at Qilby's past deeds. Most of the halls linking them are fairly identical to the first, with various tubes filled with gunk or creatures, depending on the state of what's inside.
